What makes MoFil unique is Emily’s personal touch truly sets MoFil apart—she’s fully invested in her client’s success, finding the right solutions and teaching them how to best utilize their equipment and processes.
Emily Marchetti Kunz, founder of MoFil, grew up in the Finger Lakes region, surrounded by its thriving beverage industry and exceptional local talent. She began her career at a Rochester-based food and beverage filtration company, where she developed a passion for filtration and gained firsthand insight into the unique challenges faced by producers.
To deepen her expertise, Emily pursued Enology and Viticulture coursework at Finger Lakes Community College, further connecting her to the region’s winemaking community. In 2021, driven by her knowledge, passion, and vision, she established MoFil to provide innovative filtration solutions tailored to the needs of local producers.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Emily holds a Master’s degree from Nazareth College and is an active member of the Master Brewers Association, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Women’s Council, Women for WineSense (Finger Lakes), and BOSSY Roc.
Emily’s approach to business is deeply personal, shaped by the values she learned from her father’s filtration company—providing solutions, not sales. She brings that same philosophy to MoFil, where every client interaction is handled directly by her. Whether it’s a consultation, call, or email, Emily’s hands-on, educator-first approach ensures clients receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.
